Inclinometer Monitoring
We provide inclinometer monitoring to verify lateral movements at the face of excavation shoring. Typically, inclinometer casing is attached to a soldier pile and initial readings are taken prior to excavation taking place. This type of monitoring confirms lateral movements along the length of soldier piles and ensures that excavation shoring is performing as expected during active excavation.
The initial readings establish the initial zero of the casing. Subsequent readings are compared to the initial reading. Changes in the profile indicate the occurred movement due to excavation. InGeo Design provides inclinometer reports which relate inclinometer movements to the excavation construction activities on site.
