Services Provided
InGeo Design provided the design of excavation support for the two-level underground parking structure, featuring soldier pile and lagging, and caisson wall supported by tiebacks for optimal stability. Our design integrated modern infrastructure with historic preservation, considering nearby heritage buildings. The caisson wall was specially designed with a permanent loading in roughly half of the site.
Prior to construction, we conducted a thorough pre-construction condition survey of nearby structures, heritage building and TTC tracks. Throughout excavation, our services included tieback stressing and a full package of monitoring services, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, including pile, precision, inclinometer and vibration monitoring.
