InGeo Design was retained by Keller – North America and Jeviso Construction Corporation to provide excavation shoring design and comprehensive monitoring services for the Beckett Sproule Pumping Station upgrade in Brampton. The project included the installation of a new reservoir intake, check valve chamber, forcemain, and CPP watermains, key components in improving the station’s long-term efficiency and reliability.

InGeo designed a tailored excavation shoring system to support the installation of the 1200mm watermain and surge building, while also providing structural assessments of nearby infrastructure. Our scope included designing watermain supports and evaluating the capacity of existing underground utilities and buildings to safely accommodate a 600T mobile crane operating nearby.

Throughout construction, we implemented a detailed monitoring program, including vibration and precision movement monitoring, to ensure protection of sensitive assets such as the main pumping station, reservoir cell #2, and the exposed watermains.
