InGeo Design was retained by Dean Construction Co. Ltd. to deliver engineering design and monitoring services for the Royal Canadian Yacht Club’s seawall replacement and boat lift upgrade on the Toronto Islands. The project involved the removal of the deteriorating timber seawall and installation of a new sheet pile wall, forming a widened boat well to accommodate larger vessels.

Our engineering team developed a sheet pile system to support a mobile crane at the boat lift. The slab was founded on driven piles and seamlessly integrated into the seawall system. InGeo ensured fast, reliable delivery of drawings and direct communication with senior engineers, helping the construction team stay on schedule and adapt to field conditions.

• Monitoring of shoring and adjacent structures using total station, inclinometers, and vibration sensors
• Pre-construction condition surveys were done all around the site
